Freedom of Slavery

For my portfolio, I had to include my final major project work. I have developed all this work over a series of different projects. We had to decide on a theme and create a body of work to go with it – I decided the name of my theme and collection will be called ‘FREEDOM OF SLAVERY.’ I have decided this because I want my collection to show a diverse in modern clothes with inspirational words on.  I am trying to get the message across that slavery is completely wrong in every way and how freedom and equality are human rights. No matter what age, gender, race, religion every single person in this world is truly equal and shouldn’t be treated differently no matter what.  My collection shows a clear theme and colour palette – I have found the inspiration for my designs from different films surrounding the slavery topic and exhibition I have visited. The pages I will include in my portfolio are;
-          Freedom of Slavery Mood Board
-          Freedom of Slavery Colour Palette
-          Freedom of Slavery Designs
-          Freedom of Slavery Line Up
My first page in my Eportfolio is starting with my Freedom Of  Slavery Designs / Introduction page.
This board is an overall theme board displaying all my designs and my theme title. I have 16 designs all together so I did two lines of 8 designs, one at the top and one at the bottom. The designs all together show a keen repetitive colour theme. In my opinion I think this theme board is a very strong piece of work and I am happy with it.
